Who We Are

Families & Friends Network of Greater Columbus

(FFN-GC) is a 501c3 non-profit organization formed in 2022. It evolved from an informal and active family and friends association called FFN/On My Own which shared the same priorities.  The mission of FFN-GC is to promote independent living by providing support services to adults with mild developmental and intellectual disabilities and to individuals on the autism spectrum.

We support these individuals and their families and friends through social, educational and recreational programs and in-home services.

What We Do

Each month FFN-GC, in collaboration with community resources, provides activities, classes and recreational opportunities for its members.

Other activities such as an annual picnic, bell choir performances and occasional day-long trips with chaperones may also be offered. Small fee payments are required for most activities, such as $5-$15, though there may be an additional charge for activities involving meals. Fees can be private pay or individuals with waivers may pay fees through their waiver. In-home services (Help Team) is a FFN-GC program now under development. In-home support services are provided by professional service providers. In-home support services are private-pay.
